Web design for self-starters & startups

Getting some good ideas
on the internet, fast.

You’re here, you’re ready.

We are in desperate need of better ideas on the internet. If you’re here, I’m guessing you have one. I’m also guessing you’re a little overwhelmed with how to get that idea out there.

The good news is: you don’t have to do a million things and be on every social media platform (or any). Let’s start with a solid, cohesive web presence that looks good and works for you.

My end-to-end process is perfect for you if:

  • You’re just getting started and want to skip the part where you look brand new.

  • You’re already doing something amazing offline and want to keep building your dream audience.

  • You’ve long outgrown your DIY’d site, but don’t have time to work with a full agency.

The Process

How it works

Whether your current site needs a punch-up or you’re starting from scratch, we’ll start by getting super clear on what you need (and what you reeeally don’t need) right now. Besides being fun and functional, I want to make sure your site fits into how you actually operate.

My primary goal is to make sure your site works as hard as possible, so you can take it easy.

  • Book a call and pick a time that works for you. We’ll talk about your needs and decide if we’re a good fit. If you don’t know what you need, we can talk about that, too!

(If you’re in Chicago and want to drop by the studio instead, shoot me an email.)

  • If you feel good about the intro meeting, the next step is establishing the creative direction & strategy that will inform your website.

    The creative direction includes:

    • Overall concept based on market research (e.g. 1-page website, pitch deck, 5-page website, white paper, etc.)

    • Mini-brand with typography, color palette & image selection

    • Strategic content recommendations

    • Comprehensive video explainer

    • 30-min follow-up call

    • Homepage design

    • Rough wireframe of other pages

Once you sign off, this strategy is yours to do whatever you want — you can even take it to another developer or DIY.

Otherwise, I’ll make it yours in less than a week. (That’s the last step.)

    Investment: $2,000

    Turnaround time: 2-5 days

  • Sign the contract and pay your deposit to secure a build date on my schedule.

Since we already established the creative direction and strategy, the build is a really straightforward process.

    All sites include:

    • Actionable CTAs

    • Updated or new copy

    • Optimized images

    • Basic SEO

    • Domain connection

    Investment: $2,000-$7,500

    Turnaround time: 2-5 days
